Microsoft Exam Insurance

The last couple of years, Microsoft has run a "second shot free" promotion where exams,sat within a certain time frame, can be retaken once for free. I took up the offer when sitting both my 70-270 (XP) and 70-290 (Windows 2003 Server) exams - although fortunately I didn't need to re-sit either exam.

This year Microsoft are running an "Exam Insurance" scheme. This allows a free re-take if you have previously purchased the exam insurance. Details here. Although not quite as generous as the "Second Shot" offer, I will almost certainly take out exam insurance before I take the 70-431 exam.
